JOHN GLOEKLER
Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Gloekler has over 24 years experience spanning the semiconductor, software, and consulting industries.  From 1994 to 2002, Mr. Gloekler held leadership positions within Ernst & Young’s supply chain practice and was a key factor in developing the practice from its initiation to over 800 people in 2002.  As a partner at E&Y, Mr. Gloekler sold and delivered million dollar supply chain engagements to companies such as IBM, Compaq, Cisco, HP, Toshiba, Apple, Samsung, Chiron, and others. Prior to 1994, John was Vice President of Manufacturing for Austek Microsystems and held various roles at National Semiconductor and Texas Instruments.

GEOFF SMITH
Founder and Vice President R&D

Mr. Smith has 26 years of experience in the semiconductor and software industries. His latest success was with Radiata Inc., a wireless startup creating silicon designs for the 802.11a wireless LAN market. Radiata was first to market with working silicon for the 802.11a standard and because of this was bought by Cisco Systems Inc. in 2001 for $US290M. Mr. Smith is a co-inventor of a patent that covers implementation in wireless LAN silicon.  He is an expert in sub-micron, mixed-signal silicon chip engineering and has an up-to-date knowledge of the latest CAD tools and silicon processes available. Prior to Radiata, Mr. Smith ran a software consulting company and an internet-based company.  Combining silicon expertise at the tag level with expertise in web-based applications is key to G2's technical success and Mr. Smith has experience in both areas.

LISA PAYNE
Vice President Marketing

Mrs. Payne has over 21 years of experience in high tech marketing, including leadership positions at Apple Computer, National Semiconductor, Tera Microsystems, and Austek Microsystems.  For the past 8 years, Mrs. Payne has been an independent consultant advising companies such as Nortel, Juniper Networks, and Hewlett Packard on the marketing and positioning of new products. Prior to that, Mrs. Payne was in charge of Apple Computer’s product marketing and business development activities for the Quicktime multimedia technologies and was responsible for the product marketing of entry-level Macintosh products, overseeing the product through development and launch.

DILIP MATHEW
Vice President Operations

Mr. Mathew has over 22 years of semiconductor packaging, product engineering, operations and test experience. Most recently, Mr. Mathew was the Managing Director of Hong Kong operations for LSI Logic where he oversaw LSI’s worldwide assembly and test operation. Prior to this role, Mr. Mathew was a senior manager of product engineering at LSI, managing final test of ASIC and standard products in Hong Kong. He has also held packaging engineering and engineering management positions at Amkor Technology, Altera Corporation, and National Semiconductor. Mr. Mathew’s strengths in factory management and worldwide operations will be instrumental to G2’s success.
