G2 Microsystems is a privately-held, fabless semiconductor company headquartered in Campbell, California.  All sales and marketing activities are run from this US office, enabling the company to remain close to customers and partners. In addition, G2 Microsystems maintains an R&D facility in Sydney, Australia. The technical team of 30 staff members includes veterans of successful technology start-ups, with 7 PhDs.

Within the staff there is significant expertise in wireless LAN, low power IC design, and supply chain management - all the components necessary to build advanced Wi-Fi silicon solutions.

Major investors in the company include Siemens Venture Capital, UPS Strategic Enterprise Fund, Starfish Ventures and DB Capital Partners, the private equity and venture capital arm of Deutsche Asset Management (Australia) Ltd.
