The Cisco Compatible Extensions (CCX) program for Wi-Fi tags allows customers with a Cisco Unified Wireless Network to enjoy interoperability among asset tags developed by Cisco's CCX technology partners. G2 has been working closely with Cisco Systems to ensure that all products based on G2 technology will be compliant with the CCX standard.
"G2 and Cisco have worked together closely for several years to create key components of the ecosystem for real-time locating systems," said Pradeep Gandhi, Senior Manager of Business Development in Cisco's Wireless Business Unit. "Their silicon forms a solid foundation for active asset tracking tags and will enable our partners to develop low-power CCX compliant tags quickly and efficiently."
These companies all provide complete Wi-Fi based asset tracking solutions based on G2 technology.
